An Empty Pocketbook Rant

My pocket book is empty and has been, with one exception, for over a year. I can’t figure out the problem. It’s not like the packaging isn’t nice. I keep it nice and clean, and the what I carry it around in isn't bad looking.
I try to work so I can get a little something in my pocketbook, but I guess not well enough because except for a little play money, there is nothing going in.
Sometimes, I think I might take it to the wrong places like Indigo Girl concerts or lesbian bars and it becomes almost a liability. After all my pocketbook just isn’t the kind lesbians like. But when I accessorize properly and bring it to a coed bar or party you would think I would get some loving for it. All the girls bring pocketbooks and I know my friends get appreciation for theirs. What’s the deal? I could leave it open on the table I don’t think anyone would even stick a finger in to see what was inside.
I mean- I’ve got boys giving me massages but they won’t go anywhere near my pocketbook. Really now, what up with all this?
