When two other observatories already have the latest Zeiss projector, why must the taxpayers spend $3 million on a third? Maybe Adler should write a grant. Let the private sector chip in. The taxpayers are strapped enough with the pork-laden bailout.
We are a debtor nation anyway - so where do we get all this money to spend on extra things, as well as the money we send to foreign countries? We have sold our soul to China, and future generations will pay. I can't fault McCain on this one.
I am heartbroken that McCain has run such a stupid campaign, given the alternative.
