I saw Al Gore making some prediction like lower Manhattan will be under water by the middle of the century, or something like that. Who knows, maybe I'll live long enough to see whether he was right.

Whether or not global warming is really happening, and even if it is, whether or not it is man made, there is nothing we can do about it anyway. The developing countries are not going to stop developing. We are not going off fossil fuels any time soon, especially since nuclear energy is even less politically correct. I suppose I could stop using aerosols. Now maybe THAT will do it.

Re: "We are not going off fossil fuels any time soon, especially since nuclear energy is even less politically correct."
Nuclear power plants provide about 80% of France's energy. So, kindly tell me how that scenario is feasible for France but PC toxic for us.

Re: "I suppose I could stop using aerosols."
What, ME stop using aerosol hairspray? Are you CRAZY???

Do you think I'd sacrifice anything for the sake of Political Correctness? Not while our 'leaders' fumble, bumble & CROOK their way from travesty to travesty in their fat, private jets? Take that 'carbon footprint' and SHOVE IT!

Nuclear energy is obviously not PC in this country. I don't agree with PC. I think we should explore all energy possibilities. This is one problem I have with the Democrats. They don't like nuclear energy, they don't like oil and gas, they don't like drilling, they don't like coal. They would probably even object to flint because of some toxic residue. Well who needs electricity anyway? After all the cavemen managed to live without it.

I realize you do not agree with Political Correctness because you're no conformist, not in any sense nor for any cause--which means you're profoundly subversive to ONE & ALL! But my question was, "If France relies on 80+ % of its energy from Nuclear Power, then why should the USA deem it a No-No?" Or, to put it another way:

1. On the basis of what confirmed, factual proof are we screwing ourselves over?

2. In the absence of such validation, WHY do we keep doing it?

3. Who is in charge of this Charade and what's the real payoff?
